they look kinda cool but they are hard to do, they are good for boxes though

ive been doin em on a small 15 ft flat bar. tried to take it to a 30ft flat bar that is nutable. i skiied away with my balls, but that was about it.

i think theyre easier on a round rail. Everytime I try on a flat rail it just sticks and i fall.

there cool do do on a box and then grab yer other ski and continue to hold it as u come off. but nutting a box sux even more then nutting a rail

personally i think 50/50s on boxes look sorta fruity because boxes are wide and it isnt that much of a challenge. but everyone has their own preference and style, so if ya like it, do it.

switch 5050 would be so tech!!!! im sure itll come up soon enough.. just as fastslides on handrails and nosepresses on boxes will show up sooner or later too.

can any of you actually do 50-50's? I can 50-50 blue mt. rainbow, but i think it looks better when i 50-50 up and then railslide down the backside. Also, fastslides are really hard, you have to stay way forward, but its cool cause everybody is amazed when i do one, cause hardly anyone can

wow justo ur cool, but about 50/50s, how does everyone define it cause i got a friend that does a tru 50/50 with half of both skis on the rail

when i do it i do it with just one ski on the rail. i havnt seen anyone try it with both skis.

i couldnt grind with my skis right away, the switch from skiboards made it real, so all i could do was 50-50's, and i added grabs, i like them personally

ya... u get into railslide with back foot lifted and front foot on... its not as hard as you'd think cause people usually have their weight centered well when they do fastslides... its like you put ur weight forward a bit but not too much because your scared of catching edge so its naturally ok.

a 5050 is straight with boot feet on with one foot going straight it is a 5-0

i htink 50/50s look awesome.. but sometimes hte skis are so long it doesnt even look like a very long grind

50/50s r cool when u do them for like the first part of a kink and then switch to a normal grind.

looks nice to sag your one leg over to side, then midway jump to railslide, like mike d does down the wooden rail in happy dayz. its real easy to do it on a box rail.

 
c.r.'s boardslide to 50-50 looked way stylish... i can do them on flat rails and boarders usually think it's pretty cool to see us doin new stuff
