5 years today

What the fuck, I guess me and Mi(Scra)tch are the only Americans who accually give a damn that you guys are being stupid. Calling all Americans arrogant is like saying all Canadians talk funny and are annoying.

It is really interesting how some people in the world can be so ignorant and so oblivious. Thats the problem today. People get way to far into the political aspects of EVERYTHING. Put the whole US sucks bullshit and we should have known and Bush sucks shit behind you for a second. Maybe we should have done something but we didn't. If the government could change the past I'm sure they could. The fact of the matter is thousands of INNOCENT people died this day. Not the people that were ignoring the threats made to us. Innocent people.. fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters were the people that were killed. Thats what we are remembering. Families that have to live with a tragedy like this everyday and not go a day without hearing about it. People that wanted to go home to their husbands and wives, and families and friends. People not so fortunate to be sitting at their computers with a fine life bashing the day we are supposed to be remembering them. So if people can just put the whole political thing aside for a second and remember what this day is truly about. Just remember the people killed weren't those government employees you all hate soo much. They were everyday people, just like us. Just not as fortunate. God bless the FDNY, NYPD, PAPD and all the workers killed during the attacks. Also godbless the people who spent countless hours working to find people and clean up this huge mess who now have to fight against all these different illnesses such as lung cancer. The terrorists didn't care about the people. They wanted to split the U.S. up and break us apart. They failed, horribly. They didn't hurt the economy and instead of breaking us apart they brought us together as a country... for a while. And they back to second guessing everything that goes on. Just remember what this "day of rememberence" is all about. 9/11.. fallen but not forgotten

And btw. You guys should just ignore the thing some of the Canadian members are saying. They get their information about us from the news... yes I know pretty pathetic. Keep it to yourselves guys you are just making yourself look arrogant.

As I recall, the news covers more important storys in America, and doesn't waste the air time flaming other countrys. I don't see any Americans flaming canadians on these threads.

HALLEIGHULIA!!!!!(sp?)

And where is my proof americans do that? HA! ask my mother. She is a travel agent, and has been all over the world, or how about when i was in Poland....We were on a tour bus in Warsaw, and there were people form Pittsburgh, with canadaina flags sewn onto their bags

i have zero expertise in helicopters, and no, you shouldnt be impressed

because i see my fair share of helicopters. my new house is right beside

an airport...yes, its the somerset airport, but it's still an airport.

it's just big. that's all i have on it

Oh no, Vietnam is well in the history books just like everything that's happening now. You really have no clue what you're talking about. People heavily opposed Vietnam. Before 9/11 Al Qaeda was a joke. This was until the media blew it out of proportion and sprung what we now know as "Al Qaeda". Before 9/11 Al Qaeda consisted of about 8 people. Bin Laden being the main funder. There were no training camps, no foreign cells, no mass intelligence banks, etc.

How could you tell I was American? Why would that be bad?

For the 14th time explaining this. Bin Laden attacked the US because of our military presence in Saudi Arabia and our newly formed alliance with Saudi Arabia in the 80's. We didn't invade or kill countries. No blood was shed. Bin Laden was pissed that we were present in his holy land.

Once again you avoid my argument and question my knowledge. Very good job.

OMG THEY HAD CANADIAN FLAGS ON THEIR BAGS!? Wow, could it possibly just be a patch? Seriously, think about what you're saying. She saw a family with Canadian patches on their bags. Wow, that's just amazing. Basing an eneralization off of 1 family.

Take your head out of your ass and look around.

we get the same news as you. and not all american's are ignorant but i know that there are a bunch of you guys who do take the whole super power thing way out of porportion

So it would be fair for me to say most of the Canadians I have ever met were pricks to me. If I had only been to Quebec City? Look, I live in America. I have been to almost every province in Canada. I notice NO difference in between the attitudes of people. America is such a friendly place to outsiders and to citizens. I really have a hard time believing most of the Americans you have met were arrogant. I could walk up to anyone and probably have a minute long conversation with them in America or Canada. Maybe not Quebec, because I don't speak French.
