5$ ski movie

yeah man i loved the epic music and people going "oh shiiiittt that was nuts!" without you actually seeing it. Fuckin awesome, but I probably wouldn't pay $5 for it sorry

you need the rights to the songs if you want to sell them don't you? might want to change your music choices..

you can get the rights to use the music, it's not that hard, but it takes a month or so usually, he has time if it's coming out this fall.

its a good idea to sell it or $5, more people will buy and youll get more exposure/money in the long run

it looks like its worth it

dude thats sick and ive seen some of u around. Ive seen the remmes kid at bradford...

But yah i would pay 5 bucks for that

that's just the trailer, so im not sure if that will be part of the movie, but yes it is possible to get the rights to that, you have to contact the music company that it was published on (i.e. the soundtrack/score was published on)

Ya I know you COULD do it....you can get rights to any song out there (with the right budget), but a track like that will have a pretty high price tag guaranteed. If they even respond to your request to begin with.

I'm willing to bet (without looking it up) that the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack is on a big record label. And that means lawyers will be involved to write up licensing agreements in addition to what they actually want to let you use it... (I'm just using that track as an example)

And judging by the trailer this is not a ski movie with a budget for the music.

i'd definitly pay 5 bucks for that. only on the condition you didn't use the song in your early trailer. you've gotta come up with your own soundtrack and not steal from PUSH

true, it all depends, it is possible that that particular piece of music was used before requium, and you may be able to get a recording of say the seattle symphony or something like that playing it. sometimes you can contact the bands directly (myspace works well for this), which makes things quicker and easier.

i had to do this for making a documentary, and also making a veterans day thing for my school district last year.

well you probably didn't go with high budget artists because buying the rights to music, even with less known artist can get really expensive.

plus, if you're going to buy a clint mansell song for your movie, you better get your money together cause it'll cost hundreds, if not thousands of dollars to legitely use a song that was composed for Requiem for a Dream, but that has also been used in numerous trailers, such as Lord of the Rings.

And, anyway, do not use that song cause it was already used in Offtrail's First Light trailer 3 years ago.

I dont think that i'd buy that ... that guy in orange has nooo steeze... looks kinda like an oriental on rentals ahahah

I would defineatly consider purchasing tho cause the filming/editing looks faily solid and i like the 2nd trailer
