4frt TNKs Edges ripping the base off?

I have heard a few things about the 2008-2009 TNKs edge ripping out the base if the edge comes out. Is this true? How durable are they does anyone know? Found a good deal on a pair but dont know how durable they are.
 
Shit i just ordered a pair of them. o well hopefully they work out if not it was a pretty good deal so i wont be totally bummed about em.
 
i had two buddies skiing 4frnt's including myself last year. one of them had the STL's and i think he got two new pairs from 4frnt, because of the edges cracking, before he threw them away and bought a pair for walls. but i haven't heard anything about the base beeing rippet off, just the edges. me and my other buddies both skied TNK's. his skis (the 07-08 modell) died pretty early. again because of the edges being ripped out, but the base stayed fine this time too. I've skied my 06-07 TNK's for one and a half season and they're still ripping hard! even though there are some cracks in the edges i hope they'll stand this winter to. cause frankly i like them so much and they're awesome parkskis.
 
if you ski hard, from hearing these responses, i would go through the little bit of trouble to return them, that way you wont have to go through the major trouble of breaking them

damn. yes thats def what i am afraid of but if it happens it happens as long as i can atleast ride em through this year ill be super stoked. haha
 
i had this problem like 4 years ago with a pair of stl's, i really think 4frnt needs to do something about their quality cause i really like their skis, but i dummy them so i cant afford to ride 5 pairs a season
 
Ahhthats exactly what mine are doing, 4frnt quality sucksive had mine for almost 3 months and they are done. that would be cool if they warranted this but no luck.
