So at the beginning of this season i was lookin for some new skis that looked dope and sounded legit. i came across the 4frnt clicks on a site called evogear.com which is a legit site with pretty good prices. i bought them and i loved them all season. A few chips of the top, an edge crack and that was it, but on my last day skiing i landed switch after doing a five and watched my ski bend out of shape until my face was in the ground while going backwards. wtf. thats not supposed to happen. anyone know how or what kind of abuse skis could take to have that happen? do you think they'll warranty this?

It possibly broke at the finger joint, i'd contact evogear concerning a warranty claim if this is the case, and i do believe evogear is an authorized dealer, so you should have a warranty with your purchase.

i'm gonna agree with the previous two posts. i snapped two pairs of 4frnts, once of them while carving on a groomer, and the skis were brand new. somehow that was not warrantiable. good luck though, you should probably just pick up some K2s next time around so you've got a ski that will last more than a year.

my disorderlys snapped in half behind the heelpiece 6 months after buying them from jibij, and k2 refused to replace them!

If your looking for warranty buy a snowboard. No Really. All my snowboard buds just constantly send boards back for the dumbest shit and since the snowboard industry is about as smart as a kid with down, they always replace the boards with next years shit. In the ski side is more along the lines of.... Yes we can replace those.... if you purchase them.

shit man i heard that 4frnt is like thatbesides a bit of chipping on the top the snap is the only thing wrong with itand it happened off a jump what should i tell them?

so from the sounds of it, you already did damage to the skis. i just want to be sure im interpreting this right, but chips in the top sheet (no big deal) crack in the edge (big deal). any time you get a major crack in a ski it lets moisture in, and we all know how much durability saturate wood has. if so, and you cracked the ski in that same general area, it is your fault. if not, and the ski simply folded, its an issue with the ski. when looking at a product you have to consider why it broke (in this case, impact damage) not just why it shouldnt have. skis break all the time, and for people who think they never break are extremely misinformed, unless they're pussies, in which case the skis never get pushed to the point where they could break. i would say take pictures, send them in, and see what they think. all else fails, try the website. otherwise you are shit outta luck my friend.

thats exactly what i was gonna say. jesus. 4frnts fallin off. i guess thats their budget ski but still. nothin like makin a ski outta scrap wood. I have seen some snowboards with that kinda construction, but id have to guess that with being as wide as they are its not nearly as big a deal.

yea i do recall seeing something along my edge it was most likely a crack considering what happenedand i do understand that edge cracks are a big dealshould've noticed it and yea that was a solid first postanyone got suggestions for skis next year?lookin for a ski thats obviously more durable maybe 90 at the waist and mid flex

Well 4frnt does have a bit of a reputation for lack of quality, so this really shouldn't be that suprising.
