I was planning to get the STL 177s, but the Liberty Stealth/Reapers look so damn sick, I NEED YOUR HELP

(plz don't tell me to get any skis b-sides these 2, it will just be annoying and pointless)

stl's definatly. much sturdier plus its been rider tested and approved. i've only heard great things about them. you can't really go wrong with 4frnt.

wtf! i have pictures of steele at bmw x3 freeski riding them and poseing with them! 4frnt all the way. liberty rode at breck last year and they had problems with their skis so i dont know about them.

 
I just bought some reapers directly from the liberty site. theyre sick, and crazy light. If you wanna save a few bucks, I got mine blemished for 35% off. everythings good...just no mount point line. They said they had a few pair like that left too...so id hit that up if I were you.

Liberty has the BEST warranty on the industry and on asoluteskishop.com they're cheaper than the 4frnt and plus you encourage a growing co who realy needs it!

I'd go for Liberty all the way I'm riding the Reapers this year and they look sick and not many other skis out there look this bad ass and have a 3 year warrante to back them up eh

It's actually 4FRNT's 3rd year making skis. 4FRNT uses PTex sidewalls, Liberty uses regular ABS. PTex is stronger, lighter, and more durable than ABS. 4FRNT's cores run the ENTIRE length of the ski, you can even SEE it in the tip. They have the THICKEST edge on the market (2.5mm). In 4FRNT's 1st year they garnered the reputation of being the most durable twin on the market. They have a 2 year warranty, which less than 1% of the skis they've sold have come back.

Liberty has a longer warranty, but I think they're using that as a selling point to get them off the ground. I think they'll eat alot of skis. And FINALLY, you get what you pay for....

177 stls are 1620 grams. that is SOOO light. probably the lightest ski out for its size.

I said 'I THINK', not 'I KNOW'. And YES, it's my opinion that Liberty will eat alot of skis on a 3 year warranty, and that it's more of a marketing tool than anything else...SO... you're right, I don't know alot about Liberty, I've never even seen a pair on snow. But judging from their construction LISTED on their website, that is the opinion I've formed...

 
I think 4frnt overall as a company and marketing and Construction has the best thing going right now...line is a close second with there new bindings. 4frnt is killing it.

 
For once i agree with PR, look at liberty. Look at how little hype there is, and look how much they listen to their riders. 1st season libertys are completely different than 2nd seasons. 4frnts are the same since they started... Interesting. That tells me theyre not doing all they can, because they would rather see profit margins go up.

no, dumb ass 4frnt doesent need to change their skis because they allready got them right

second pcket rocket, of corse you are going to be pushing their skis and saying they are good, your sponsored by them duh! retard!

third the liberty team rode at breck last year, and they always were complaining about something being wrong with their skis, and as we all know the pro teams ride the next years skis, ie the skis that are currently on the racks.

bottom line liberty will end up eating a lot of skis this season, they should have spent one more season doing r and d before putting their skis out there for sale, the skis look sweet, but past that im worried.

 
I'm going to have to agree. 4FRNT has proven themselves to be a sturdy twin. Their models have changed (the STL, and the new construstion of the MSP, the 187?). If I was in the market, I would definitely take a 4FRNT over Liberty. I would wait a year and see what Liberty is all about, and yes they might eat some skis.

 
1- the guy already bought his liberty, good job!

2- the team complained last year, because constructive complaining makes better skis.

Now, just wait, and see!

by the way, no skis are perfect, 4frnt could have them way better.
