Which ski can do it all. Which ski can perform better in PIPE, PARK, BC, and RAILS. WHICH SKI IS BETTER?????????

jman, it hink that is SOO true, i beat the shti out of ym skis and my 4frnts have held up mint. i even took a huge chunk out of my base exposing the whole edge, and they stayed in for 3 weeks, then i filled the hole

This thread has been pretty consistent actually. Usually when someone asks for input between two skis, he gets three-four completely different skis than he mentioned. But this one seems to stay on course. TM's are a lot of fine to ride, I used my friends pair of 175's and they were solid. I haven't demoed any 4FRNT's yet, but hopefully that will change in time.

gat msp is fatter for powder and indestructible unlike tms night losses in pipe catagory but is hands down better

ya bout im from holiday valley ny and there is no fuckin pow. jus rails a shitty ass pipe and a couple good tables. so the msp or tm. im getting alot of info outta this. This is a good thread

i think your question should be STL or TM, if you don't plan on skiing that much powder

Only in my sweetest dreams do my streams lack troubled waters, shallow pools full of shallow fools...

it's more park oriented than the MSP (even though the MSP slays the park as it is), and if you're gonna be on hardpack most of the time it might be a better choice.....it's a lot closer in comparison to the TM than the MSP is for sure

i'd imagine you'd get a slightly better edge grip with them since they have more sidecut and are skinnier underfoot.....but i haven't skied the STL's, i just own a pair of MSP's.

supposedly they're a little softer.....i'm sure they're just as durable....you should get them

I still love my troublemakers and they are in fine shape after one season. If you plan on hitting a lot of rails and/or are not smooth on them the edges will probably not last. I ski at holiday too and would never consider something as wide as the msp for our conditions.

4frnts are the better over all ski in my opinion, I demoed them for a week up at t-line the 180's and I could tear everything up in sight even rails on the beasts. And they were so solid at high speeds and felt amazing.

i dont see how the tm's could be that fragile?no one would buy them...and it would be extra exspensive for dynastar to keep replacing the tm's that the pros ride that they sponser ride(like crighton, and phil).basically every week they would need a new ski.. i dont think its that bad
