4frnt YLE vs Volkl Shiro

I'm looking to get a new freeride-style powder ski. I'm 5'8 145 lbs and I ski a lot of glades, cliffs and jumps in powder. I've narrowed it down to the 4frnt YLE and the Volkl Shiro. Which one do you guys recommend? If anyone has ridden either one?

Personally i would go with the shiro. I think its more playfull in the powder, and they will be stiff on those pillow lines

I've skied the YLE a couple times this year at the Bird and in Grizzly. It's super playful and a sick pow ski. Easy to spin and butter, and floats really good. I recommend it.

i'm still skeptical of completely symmetrical pow skis, because i'm not eric pollard and ski pow forward more than half the time.

the shiro looks sick and i've been wanting to try a pair for a super long time

Gripes I've had with symmetrical/near symmetrical skis in pow is that the tail generally floats as well as the tip, and this puts you backseat at lower speeds, and even at higher speeds, makes it easy to catch a bump wrong and tip dive. I feel like full rocker solves this problem, as the tail isn't pressing down into the snow and supporting the tail end, if anything the snow ends up pushing it down.. This makes it possible to ski with a much more forward/balanced stance in deep snow. Landing with a fully rockered ski I feel gives you less margin for error than with a traditional straight tail (landing backseat will make you wheelie with a rockered tail)
