4frnt Warranty Rant

I have heard people say it was difficult dealing with 4frnt warranty but I figured it would all work out....I was wrong. After about 3-4 weeks of riding my STL's, I fell on them and bent the core. From my binding up, the ski has reverse camber. I thought it was a for sure warranty. I emailed 4frnt and they said that a bent ski is "pretty much a broken ski" and is not covered under warranty. I think that's wack. They should stand behind their product. I had a small problem with my liberty's and they sent me new ones really fast. Long story short, I am never buying 4frnts again. There's my rant.

i do want to add that I respect 4frnt for progressing the sport and I met sterbenz and he is a really cool guy. I just disagree with their "business ethics"

Where did you buy them from? If you buy new skis this year get them from Tramdock.... They have a lifetime warranty... no matter what. Like, in 10 years if you snap them... just return them.

Weak, and it's unfortunate because 4frnt is otherwise a very chill company. A manufacturer's warranty reputation is one of the major things I take into account when buying skis. It would blow to have your skis break (which always happens) and then be high and dry forced into shelling out again for new skis...fuck that!! That's why I ride Armada. Unquestionable warrranty. I was going skiing this summer and my shit broke a couple weeks beforehand and they Overnighted me skis to get them here in time. No charge.

stinks, not the first story of it's kind either.

from what I hear Armada has the best warranty, there are constant post praising them

I just bought bluehouse skis and they've been awesome to people who are having trouble with the skis and replacing them right away too so hopefully that will last.

fo sho'! armada hooks it up big man, between me and my friends we've got 2 replaced and no problems at all. Tyson Hall is a real legit down to earth guy and will help you with all your needs. 4Frnt has the worst customer service i have ever seen in any company ever. i went to demo their stuff at demo day at stratton and i tried for like 35 mintues to get on a pair so i could have our shop pick them back up because i wanted to get some more core companies in the shop But alas No help at all. The same type of warrenty happened to my friend too with his TNK's guess you live and you learn.

i have the same problem with my stl's and rode them only for 4 days and only 2 of that were park days - they say it's my fault and i don't get a new one - WTF!!! A friend had the same problem two weeks ago with his t hall's and he rode that ski for one season, he became a new one . why can't 4frnt do this!!!???
