I found 4FRNT 09/10 TNK's for under $250.They are brandnew and have never been used. I know they have durability issues, but if you take away there durability issues, are they a good ski? Also what is their flex and weight like compared to other skis?

im not sure if i have the same ones you are talking about. they are the black ones with the 4f in the middle part of the skis. i may have gotten lucky, but i havent really had durability issues. i have normal topsheet chipping and a maby 2 tiny edge cracks, but nothing nearly as bad as my salomon dumont's. the only ski that i really have to compare them to is the dumonts, so i dont know how much help this will be but o well. the tnk's are quite a bit stiffer and less playful. honestly they feel kind of dead. they are at time almost like riding planks of wood. if you can get them cheap and are pressed for money, its not a terrible option, but i would keep shopping and see if you can find something that has a little more life. sorry this was kind of all over the place, my perk just kicked in, but i hope it helped.

I bought the same ones last season, no problems at all. Sure they are stiffer than a number of park skis, but I think they are really fun ski and not a piece of wood at all.
