they're actually a little bit on the stiffer side but can be broken in to a really comfortable stiffness that's not to noodley but not too stiff. and what's really sweet about them is that they're a symmetrical ski. which means that the nose and tail are the same and they're meant to mounted in the center. Perfect for the park!!! you can still butter on them and they're pretty much my most favorite skis ever for the park! I wouldn't even consider riding anything else.
 
I'd say that's pratically symmetrical, a 4 mm difference from tip and tail. Get a ruler out and look how long 4mm is. The tip of your finger is wider than that...
 
Still its NOT Symmetrical. The only symmetrical skis this year I believe are Line Invaders/Anthems and Fischer Addicts. There are plenty of skis w/ only ~4mm difference in the tip and tail... and none of them are advertised as symmetrical.
 
I can't tell a difference when riding switch or regular between the tail width and the tip width. Maybe it's just the core and the flex that symmetrical? All I know is that they're fun as hell. and I LOVE the way they ride. And being someone that doesn't usually like to be mounted dead center. I'd have to say that these skis have changed my ways. Don't start doggin till you try em. :)
 
If you take a ski that has a 4mm difference in width between the tip and tail, mount it dead-center, and can tell a difference skiing backwards or forwards, well then, you:

1) Are the best skier of all time, and should be a product tester for every company out there charging $50,000 a minute for your time....

or

2) Should be involved in the space prgram.

Either way, it's more than likely you won't notice a difference...
