4frnt is only doing a different contest just for TGR because they posted the same contest and TGR flipped out and hated them for asking them to pick up those "newfangled" twitter and facebook accounts and follow them to get free stuff.
Here is 4frnt's response to the hate in the thread they posted this contest in:
"After reading through the posts on this thread, we at 4FRNT would like to apologize to the TGR
community. Our intentions were not to exclude anyone or force people
into joining any social networks that they don't want to be a part of,
we simply wanted to show our appreciation to the skiing community as a
whole. By stating the contests would only be on facebook and twitter, we
segregated our audience, a mistake that wont happen again. Our goal in
designing these contests was to give people a chance to share their
media and ideas to other members of the skiing community, while also
hooking up our fans for their loyalty. So as a reform to our original
contest announcement, we will be making contests for the TGR website
specific to TGR ONLY, thanks for letting us know we over-stepped our
bounds."
