if you've actually skied them It'd be great to hear about them, especially if you're 6'+, 180ish.

got a pair on the way, dying to try em!

You know what the hardest part about snowblading is? telling your mom you're gay!

yeah im 6'2'' definitly get the 183s. im only wiehg 165 though. they are super soft, but more stable than i expected outside of the park. and in the park they kill it.

...

yeah, i have the 177s. they are super soft. freaking awesome in park. i was a little dissapointed in its all mountain capabilities since they are my only ski, but you cant expect much from a park specific ski.

By far the most fun ski I have ever ridden. It's really hard to put into words exactly how amazing the flex is on these things. I rode them for the first time earlier this week and I felt like I was five years old I was having so much fun buttering and ollieing. Solid, solid choice.

Only thing that would stop me from buying them is that I'm still afraid the topsheets would peel up, but they might've fixed that

best ski ever, unless you like to ski pipe, that's why I have last years TMs to go with my STLs

^^^it feels weird to me having that super wide waist and mellow flew in the pipe, the edges just don't hold as well either, even though neither skis actually have edges.

^ Haha, that's my only problem with the STLs. They are pretty bad at holding an edge and aren't all that quick under your feet when your outside of the park. But if you're riding 75-90% pipe it doesn't really make a difference.

yeah i got the msp's and they are pretty fat but ive wanted to try out steele spence's pro models. they seem pretty sweet

Guy who asked about pipe: It's hard to find a better pipe ski than the TM, because the flex pattern is just ideal for it. The STLs are far too soft to be as effective. If not for their edges, TMs would be a top-rate park/pipe ski. As for this thread, go for the 183 if you must... I'm not an STL fan, so I suggest you demo before choosing a ski.

The STL's rock. I've been skiing them all-mountain for most of this season in Utah, and we've had TONS of snow. At 84mm underfoot they ski good all over, and in the pipe they hold their own, quite a bit of pop in the tail. They're super-light, and have almost no swing-weight. Durability-wise they're holding up great, no problems.

And the new Foil is a way better pipe ski than the TM, but just wait for Niklas' pro model, it will set the bar for pipe skis.

soft sweet in the park sums it up

'kevin whyed nils pull you out?' 'Cuz i was touchin bitches.' 'No seriously why did he put in scott.' 'Scott doesn't touch bitches.'
