does anyone have any info on this hard to find ski?

like how much it is and demensions or even stiff or soft?

 
i sent an e-mail to 4frnt to find out about the colors for next years msp and Matt Sterbenz sent the info about both skis:

The STL, a park and pipe specific ski that has been developed by Steele Spence. This ski has a more centered sidecut allowing easy switch riding, just as comfortable as riding forward. The skis construction will remain the same with the MSP except for aspen in the tip and tail and the maple under foot. Turning radius stays the same for all sizes, 22.5.

STL 183-Burgundy/Grey base 115-84-109

177-Charcoal/Burgundy 112-82-104

167-Navy/Grey base 106-78-98

147-White/Black base 93-68-87

The skis availability will start at Whistler this summer at Comor Sports and Glacier shop. We will have free demo's on the glacier all summer so you can try before you buy.

If we(skiers) are trying to copy snowboarders so badly, why then do we have two sticks under our feet when they only have one?

sounds like the 180 model isnt as beefy as this years.

The STL is a really good looking ski, and from what I've seen/heard, rides really well too.

PJ Cliche: Total skate influence. Even doh dis is on concrete, an you are face sideways, an it has sweet fuck all to do with ski, skate 'as play a huge role wit my steeze.

I got to hold and look at both of them. They're an amazing ski because they have a sidewall, but are as light as a cap construction ski. Both have a nice flex to them and look extremely durable. I think we'll all be impressed by their line of skis for this year

i held the 183 the other day, and they are quite sick. the 183 isn't that much skinnier than the MSP it seemed. but i am prolly wrong. theya re sick, with a Plaid lookin topsheet. pretty stiff, great ski i recon. still with 2 yera warranty, so good stuff.

i was talking to a shop owner about them and he said that there are 2 different models, one is like the regular flex(which is soft), then there will be a pro flex(which will be stiffer). and it seems the regular flex are what will be stocked more

my guess is that they will release them late summer like all the other skis for the 04/05 season.

I can't wait to demo a pair of STLs and the 187 MSPs (I think thats the new length) at camp this summer. Both skis look sick.

the color for the 183 would be rad on the 177's, mainly cuz i dont ride that big a ski and i like that color better.

^ i agree with you...i have a red coat, and beige pants and shit and it would match so perfectly but oh well looks like im stuck with getting the black ones...my 170 msps match well oh well no more matching...:(

^ But black will go with anything you wear. I think the black is incredibly badass. What color is the base and what is the design? Anyone have a pic of the base?
