I want to buy some new skis and dont know which is better. I am deciding between 4frnt or Armada. any suggestions would be apriciated.

well in order for us to give you useful information we need to puy ourselves in your shoes. what do you like in a ski? whats your weight/height? what will you be doing with this ski? where do you ski?

im 5"6, 125 pounds and like to ski part, but also groomed runs. i ski at blue mountian in ontario, i used to snowblade but want to start real skiing.

well from what ive heared the stls are kinda heavy this year so that will hurt your transition from the sport, not even, the recreation that shall not be named to skiing. so id go with el rays in like a 160-165(i dont know what lengths they come in)

I flexed them at the ski show, and they were stiffer then the ar6's. I Think the el rays would be good in a 171.

the el ray is armadas price point ski this year. it shouldnt cost you much with bindings. maybe 500 tops. but dont buy them from like sporting life or skiis and biikes or any local store for that matter. i think youll find them the cheapest on the internet.

True, or better yet, get a previous years model, and save more! There is no need to have the current years ski, they are all very similar, aside from minor tweaks.

if i were u, i would get the ar6. i think the el ray is just a toned down ar6 for 100 bucks less. i have ar6s and they are sooo good.

i dont know much about either ski, but just from what ive been hearing about armadas excellent waranty, you might want to go with them.

hahahahaha you're such a tool, actually you should mail order from jibij so it helps out my scene, they do events and shit around hurr. yeah do that, buy from some one to help my scene fuck yours.

Oh and have fun paying a mondo fee to have some one MT. them after you get to pay a bit less online.

Bottom line support your local shops it's the best for everyone.

I would go with armada dude, they do have really good customer service. Tyson Hall will help you out with what ever you need, he's a stand up guy. The el rey's are sick i skied them at stratton last year and they're actally a really nice ski especially for the price, for you i would get the 164 and mt them -3 cm, you should be really happy with that. 4 frnt has shitty service and i wouldnt go with them i got some friends that only ski them but they've also broke a pair a year, your pick. I would also highly reccomend the FKS 12 binders they're sick and would be nice for your din range and you can always use them on your next ski, but thats a whole nother conversation. Best of luck with your decision.
