4FRNT Skis

Anyone have any experience/info they can share about 4FRNT's park skis? Like them? What is good and bad about them? Also, what can I expect from the Switchblade?

Here's my story, my tnk's fell apart within 2 weeks, core shattered and edges gone(typical) and when I went to the 4frnt center in salt lake, they basically told me 'f off, good luck'. I was pissed at both the product and the customer service backing it. But you never know maybe it'll work out perfect for you

sorry to hear about previous poor experiences with them, I've had the complete opposite experience

I've had 3 pairs of 4FRNTs, 07/08 STLs (park), 08/09 MSPs (for all mountain - were stolen), 10/11 CRJs

I still have the STLs and ride them regularly in park. they shred. they're nice and still and still have a lot of pop in them after 4 years

The MSPs were rippers too but those were stolen from me after a year, and they were in awesome condition despite riding all over all types of shit

I love my CRJs. I rode those over 110 days last year and love them. My lady friend actually just bought a pair.

I haven't had any issues with my skis so I haven't had to deal with customer service, but I have emailed them a few times and Sterbenz the man himself emailed me back within a timely manner, really nice guy.

i'm working for vail mountain safety this year and am thinking about buying a pair of Turbos for everyday skiing. hope this helps!

Well that is good to hear, will look into them I think. Sorry to hear about the MSPs, has happened to me, definitely not a fun experience. Thanks for the help, +k

I don't mean to scare you off too much, mostly just bitchin about my bad time, the other guys that ride 4frnt's really like them up til the edges blow out, but that's heavy rail slayin... I loved my tnk's while they lasted! Switched to surfaces now and I'm happy

Ive owned a couple pairs of 4frnts i had some 2005 stls a few years ago and they were very light and really poppy they were pretty fun, then last year i had some the 2011 tnks and i loved them they were very poppy and i was still able to throw corked butter 3's the edges wore fast though. But if you buy 4frnt make sure you get the right size otherwise they will kick you around because the tails are stiff. This year im getting Switchblades which are looking like they are going to be my favorite skis yet.
