How is this ski?

Can someone tell me on how it is in pow, park and such?

It's a really good ski in the pow, because it is so stiff. It's a good park ski other than the fact that it is quite stiff and buttering is different than a flexier ski would be. The edges hold up real well.

You should maybe chek out the VCT, it looks so sikter.

I have the first MSP's too, not the new ones, so Im sure the new ones are much better.

i don't trust 4frnt cause i got a pair of their STL 177's, and they got a stress fracture all the way across the ski by the binding after using them for 2 days up in whistler

so 4FRNT's are stiff huh, well how stiff is the vct's then? and the dimensions on it? Does the 2005/2006 msp have any changes in the flex?

how stiff are they on a 1-10 scale there 10 is stiffest you can get?

Check the Vinne Dorion interview on the front page for some info on the VCT along with some pics. I dont think it says dimensions but it gives u a good idea of what it looks like.

The MSP's have no tail washout whatsoever, the stiff tails can really save your ass once u figure out how to use them to your advantage.

Compared to the STL, the MSP is a big difference. I have a pair of both. STL has alot more pop than MSP. Easier to ollie with STL.

I'm not sure how much change has went into the 05/06 models but they sure look dope in the pictures. check 4frnt.com, they mite have more info

the MSP structure is unchanged since their first season, for 05-06 it's just a different graphic and a more durable topsheet. they are made to go pretty much everywhere. i have one pair of MSP's, and that's what i ride in every condition. just took them to silverton last week, where they did great, they are sick in the park too, and very lightweight, which makes them good in the trees. they are stiff compared to a lot of twins, but not the stiffest twin by any means. they are also coming out with an MSP 'supermodel' which actually might be the stiffest twin out there.

MSP is just so dope, VCT is maybe a bit too wide. I am member of a freestyle skiing club.
