4frnt MSP

i assume you don't plan on riding too much park with them, so i wouldn't go anywhere in front of the "freeride" position. i have the 180 MSP mounted 1cm ahead of freeride, and they're good for park but nose dive in pow. i've heard from a couple people who ride the 187 that like 1cm-1.5cm back from freeride is the way to go if you're using them mainly as a non-park ski. how big are you?

what the fuck is freeride??? just mount them at core if you're hittin all mountain, and tru center if you're hittin park with them.

because I like poop.

I'm 6'3 185. I'm going to be on hardpack out here in cali, I got them to hit big kickers and big rainbows and boxes. Is center mount the way to go? I dont want to sacrafice the skis performance when I hit diamond runs on the way to the park.

I'm the same size as you and skied a pair of 187 MSPs for a few days last season. Personally, I'd agree with the first dude that posted, saying 1 - 1.5 cm back from the freeride mount line is the way to go. You'll still be fine in the park, but they'll also perform waaay better outside the park.

The pair I rode were mounted 1 cm forward of the freeride mark and they sucked in pow and on anything remotely steep...too much tail.
