Size 181, im going to be using these skis for allmountain/powder goodness, but i like to ski switch ALOT and will also be using them for booters in the park too. im thinking  of mounting them 2.5cm forward from suggested line. thoughts?

I center mounted mine (MSP 181) like four years ago. they are not made to be skied like this and it took a little getting used to,(it was my first center mount) but they totally kick ass! if you want to go a little forward that would be fine and they perform great!

they're suggested mark is 6 cm back, i would suggest if you are going to ride more park then all mountain then go 4 cm forward of suggested, but if you are going to do more all mountain then park i would say 2 or 3 cm forward of suggested depending on how much more all mountain then park you plan to do

4cm up from suggested is perfect. i had supermodels mounted at that point and i used them primarily for park (switch a lot) and they were great. i also used them skiing pow at snowbird and doing a bunch of snomo bc riding around slc and they were great for that too. didn't tip dive at all. i was really stoked. so yeah, in short, mount at +4 from suggested.

Just got my new '08 MSP's. Have a question about the bindings that were mounted on them. I wanted the bindings set up for all mountain skiing. How exactly should they have been mounted? The beginning of the rear binding starts about 3 to 4 cm behind the "midsole" mark.

Does this mean they're set up for AM skiing or for Park/Pipe (which I've been told is dead centering the bindings)?

THX!!!

what bindings do you have? if it's something short like an fks binding, then you're probably a bit forward. if it's a longer binding like a salomon 9 series, you should be alright.

i mounted a pair of 07 187s forward and i didn't like them at all... second pair i put on the line and they are stellar... great all round and fast switch. i put my EHPs on the line too... seems the boys at 4frnt have it right
