4Frnt Feedback / Info

Ok I am looking into buying some 4frnts off ns. but im not fimiliar with them at all.... so like can anyone help. i ski line and salomon. they are super solid companies love the skis. but these skis are super cheap. anyone compare 4frnt and salomon with me? do they have skis that stay together? ike nnot fall apart easy? thanks.
 
4frnts are pretty sweet, they ride like any other normal ski, rather they dont do anything super different with their design, however they are kinda prone to delam, edge cracks, and other manufacturing flaws, not sure how they are on the warrantee end.
 
Yeah, I created a thread a few days ago about how shitty my 4frnts were. it is under gear talk.

It was fun to ski, but shitty construction. They use subpar edge construction, which is awesome if you want to take your edge out easily.

Fuck 4frnt.
 
Agreed...i have owned 2 pairs of STL's, both have delaminated...they were cool about the first pair and fugged me on the second pair....

4FRNT! They ride amazing, and they have improved their quality drastically from this year to last. I would definitely do 4FRNT over the other. Not only that, but you would be supporting a company that is onwed AND operated by skiers.. unlike the other company.
 
from what i hear there are basically some made good and some bad.

like that one guy was saying, i just read a thread yesterday from a guy who his edges got ripped out after just a season, and then 4frt wouldnt replace them even though technically they were still under warranty.

but then other threads no one can say anything bad about them.

if i were you, i would just stick with lines and salomons. ive been skiing for a while now and thats all ive ever been on, and i doubt ill ever switch.
