4frnt deadbolt paper jig

i emailed the company asking for a paper jig, but no response, so im wondering if anyone knows were i might be able to find one, or has one.  my mountain opens this weekend, and i need my bindings mounted

If you have the bindings just make one.

put the bindings on paper... use a pencil or sharpie to mark on a piece of paper where the holes are. on either side of the holes measure out putting a mark every 1/4 inch... Place that paper on your ski, making sure there are the same amount of marks on each size, thus meaning the holes are centered. When I did it, I just put the bindings on my ski where they looked good..... marked through the holes... measured to the sidewall to make sure it was actually close to the middle of the ski, and went.

Yeah I'm about to have the same problem. I just ordered a pair then realized there is no one in my area who can mount them. I don't know what to do. I guess I can just wing it.

the easiest way is take a ski you have had mounted with the current binding and boot, place wax paper over the old holes. mark the holes with a marker. then mark the line that you used for your boot midsole (center or what ever you mounted) from the ski to the paper. . then take the paper and put it on your new ski, line up the midsole and drill

Big question would be do you intend to drill and mount yourself (not recommended) since I doubt any shop will use your homemade template like the others suggest

precisely. I've even gone so far as to mount the bindings on a piece wood to make sure my mounting points were perfect before actually mounting the bindings on the skis (if I wasn't sure about my jig).

we freemount at my shop all the time. either of the methods mentioned by rich or k-day work well. if you're drilling yourself, just make sure you have the proper drill bit. a 4.1x9.5 is the size used on most adult skis. you don't want any big ass holes and you don't want to drill through your base.

Yep, I had to call around to find a shop with enough sack to mount them by hand. my experience was that most shops will not do it without the jig.

haha, gutted, ive got deadbolts, theyr a nice binding but the jigs a piece of work. good luck
