Does anyone know how they are?? I know there where threads like this before but everybody was just fighting and didn't answer the question. How are the compared to the p12??

the 4frnt bindings are manufactured by a company called VIST which used to make bindings for nordica

ya know how the saloman heel pieces pull out of the tracks, well the 4frnts have twice as much metal over the heel theyre way more durable

 
Alright here is the deal, they are made by a binding compagny called Vist, they are an independant compagny with contracts from salomon, and others. They were a plate maker for the most part, but this year they moved into the full binding bussness. And to answer your question, well nobody really know unless your a 4frnt pro. They are the only ones who have tryed them out.

and b is my neighbor and sterbenz brought them all over the other day when i was there and he explained what makes them better it is all the metel in the hell piece as well as it runs on 3 tracks instead of 2 on the sides like saloman

 
This is NOT VIST's first year making bindings. Like has been said numerous times before, they made Nordica's bindings 3 or 4 years ago.

But can someone please tell me the difference between the VIST binding and the 4FRNT bindings???

 
freezy is right, i saw the bindings in vegas at the show, cost a lot of money, so why go with them when you can get pivots

well they kinda look like a mix between markers slaomon and look toe piece and a salomon like heel piece pretty damn dope if you wanty my opinion but yea, you cant tell how good a binding his without testing them for a whoel season.

shawnm, how has 4frnt changed the binding compared to the Nordica binding of a couple seasons ago?

Is it a new hole pattern, stronger springs, different brake design? All of the above?
