correct me if im wrong, but didnt nordica stop making bidings cuz they were pretty damn unsafe. that doesnt inspire confidence in the 4frnt bindings. but who knows, i could be wrong.

with a name like deadbolt, how can you NOT trust them? of course, it could mean deadbolt as in it won't budge when you try getting into them. hmmmm....
Yeah I don't know if anyone is going to be too stoked on the 4frnt bindings. Especially if that's true about the Nordica bindings which I heard sucked.

theres nothing wrong with that binding at all, VIST just markets much more oversees. Basicly 4frnt just took an already proven design, and put a differnt graphics set on it. Kinda like look/rossi. line on the other hand...
all you fucks should just shut the fuck up, i have used the bindings and they are perfectly fine. why would you hate on a company that is only trying to make the best gear possible, oh and the guy with the volkl icon, my god your a fuckin shit stain, are you tooo GOOD for these skis.. fuk you and volkl.
This is the second time I've had to clear this up. Nordica only stopped using the VIST binding because they were bought out by Tecnica, which owned Marker. Nordica was forced to incorporate Marker bindings. Nobody at Nordica was happy to drop the VIST binding, because it was gaining momentum as a solid and SAFE product. Ask anyone from Nordica and they'll tell you the same thing.
That binding rocks and anyone considering it should feel confident they're getting one the best bindings on the market...
I think the question should be, why not just get look or salomon bindings? Theres no extra perks in getting a 4frnt binding. If it was like the LINE binding, youd probably put up with its lacking of other areas because its interchangable, but the 4frnts dont offer either...
Actually they'll be available mid winter this year.
And yeah what's with the expensive binding trend. The only bindings that should cost over $300 are green spring ones that go up to a din of like 18. A binding that goes up to only 12(Line) should be like $300 even with all the bells and whistles.

salomon bindings blow but lookbindings are some of the best i reckon. the reactors werent very good last year but this year a few minor changes have seen them develop into quite a good reliable binding

I have no complaints with the 4FRNT Deadbolts. I rode them a few days on STLs at camp and they did exactly what they should do, keep your skis attached to your feet and release when you have a potentially bad fall. I found them to be relatively light-weight. As for durability, I can only speculate, but they appear to be pretty solid (they don't seem to be 'cheaply' made). With a MSRP of $325 they are comparably priced with other bindings in the same DIN (6-14) and performance category. Although I didn't spend a ton of time on they (2 days of park riding at CoC) I really didn't find anything negative about them. The bottom line: These bindings are solid and you should at least consider them when looking at bindings.
