Ok so i just got some ep pros and was looking to put last years 4frnt deadbolts on them, but i was reading a thread about them and they were talking about how you have to have jigs? what are those, and are the 4frnt bindings worth the money? +k

jigs are templates shops use to put your binding on the ski, it is in order to make sure all the holes they drill are the right pattern, for instance the position of where you need to drill for a 4frnt binding is different to a salomon. Any store which sells your binding will have a jig to put them on the ski.

DO NOT GET LAST YEARS DEADBOLTS!!!

get this years tyrolla model and save yourself the misery of having broken bindings all the time. my friend had them and they were always broken or screwed up.

i have last years deadbolts on my EPs and haven't had any problems. they are sick and burrly

i've put 150 days on my 4frnt deadbolts that are 2 years old, and i plan on mounting them up again this year to put a minimum of 80 more days on them. there extremely solid bindings. i never once had a problem with the durability of them. exactly why i bought another pair this year to go on my ARG's, i love those bindings.

my bad for second post but i completly forgot to answer the question, it is worth getting them and the jig is just whats used to mount them like stated prviously. the shop i bought my first pair from didnt have the jig but they ordered one in for me to mount them. if your shop didnt have the jig they probly would aswell.

The old VIST 4frnt Deadbolt bindings were so fucking solid...

The only ONLY reason that 4frnt changed from Vist to Tyrolia this season was because not enough shops had VIST/4frnt jigs. It was highly unfortunate, because I always thought that Deadbolts were sick as fuck.
