There will be a Premier on November 28th at the Fredrick Wood Theatre (Vancouver, UBC) for 4Bi9's 07-08 Movie titled Slamina. Also showing will be Stept's 07-08 Movie Road to Nowhere. The cost is 5.00 dollars for both shows. Slamina Dvds will also be sold for 10.00 at the door (2 movies viewings + Slamina Dvd = The normal cost of 1 Dvd). Please come out and show your support for local and developing companies!
The schedule goes as follows:
Doors Open: 6:30 pm
Road to Nowhere: 7:00 pm
Gear Toss-Out: 8:00 pm
Slamina: 8:15
*An after-party at Korner's Bar will be held for all those of age. The bar is directly across the street from the theatre and both venues are really sick.
Prizes and gear will be given out courtesy of Amplid, Ninthward, Newschoolers.com, and Spy.

*Note: There will also be a free showing of Slamina on November 23rd at the Longhorn Saloon in Whistler, BC. More gear will be tossed out, along with a pair of skis from K2. More details coming soon!

this vid is really good, but Ive already seen it a bunch and that is opening weekend for whistler...
 
yea but they might bend the rules for such events...and i heard about something like if its before a certain time of day and ur in a designated area in a whistler-owned bar, you can go in.
 
Yes, well, I've heard of BC liquor licensing regulations, and I don't think the Longhorn has any members of the legislature on staff so it's somewhat unlikely that they can "bend the rules". If their patio is licensed as a restaurant that may work, but there are no TVs out there. I'm going with "you're SOL."
