so i watched the new teaser for their new movie.

and i saw some snowboarders in it.

so my question is...

is the ski industry finally coming together with the snowboard industry, or vice versa?

personally i dig it. and i would like to see more of it.

maybe there will be snowboarders at JOSS next season? who knows...

i ski wit boarders but id like to see them in the big run, such as movies, and JOSS, seperate

i ride with a couple boarders too, its cool watchin them do stuff we can't on skis, and tryin stuff they come up with

some of the guys in 4bi9 ski and snowboard. in the bonus stuff on Slamina, someones self edit is all snowboarding, i dont remember who. One of the guys pry has some snowboarding in his segment.

this has been happening forever... you're just ignant...check out pop yer bottles... Ccrew has snowboarders

yeah i was going to say that but forgot. not really relevant but i hated the music in that movie. i looked on the box and it said it had all of the "latest trendy hip hop songs" or some shit like that. i had to mute CR's segment cause i cant fucking stand sean paul

i noticed this too but hadnt said anything. i personally feel like there should be a LITTLE bit of diversity in there. i mean i usually ride with boarders most of the time and its awesome to see them do stuff we cant do on skis. But in movies i dont think theyre should be as many of them since it is a SKI movie.. just like i dont think boarders would want a ton of skiiers in their movies but a little dab is always good. They looked sick in the trailer though im stoked to see it

there will definitely be no snowboarders at JOSS unless they're filming or taking pictures.mostly because you'd have to convince the best prow snowboarders to go.but I definitely dig snowboarders in movies and what not they have so much style!

If I had to guess I would say there will be a total of about 8 or 10 snowboarding shots altogether in the movie.

any of T-Halls movies have boarders, idea had some(other then pep/andy/eric at hood), tgr has been doing it for ever. but i have yet to see a snowboard movie with skiers in it...

no those guys ride keystone a lot i think joe mango and norman or something? i wanna say this guy is chris vogt? someone correct me if i'm wrong

Ha....

Yeah.. Chris Vogt and Sean Kaulback. Just some homies that we shred with out here. They're both real sick.

snowboarders iz cool, except for some of the "because im decked out in burton im pro ones" ..and they are able to look much more fresh in tight pants than skiers :/ in my opinion.

I'm actually stoked to see the boarders. The Snowboarding superunkown was so sick, I think the kid has got great style and should make the movie even more interesting.

that's who i was thinking of. Them and Chris are sick. I enjoy watching that as well. The C-Crew boarders are sick too.

DOS media has both.
i like the concept and all but to be totally honest i skipped all the snowboarders (excluding justin norman he is awesome) in Overlooked. I dont mind them being in there but i most likely won't watch it.

i dont really hav a problem with 4bi9 and borders... maybe the movie would be better w.o boards but whatev. JOSS and big ski competitions should DEFINETLY STAY SEPARATED

I don't know. I'm stoked for snowboarding/ride with snowboarders/buy snowboarding movies. That being said, no snowboard film company (or at least major) is ever going to film skiers. TGR films both, MSP films them on the Whistler jump and I guess 4bi9 is too. I know it's sweet to film with you're bros and whatnot but I just not entirely sold on having them both in a movie. If I buy a ski movie, I want to watch skiing and when I buy a snowboard movie, I expect snowboarding.

how could the movie be better without? that just doesnt really make sense.. they are going to have a few shots mixed up in the riders segs... i dont see how that could make the movie worse... those kids kill it and worked to get shots in the movie... no reason not to show everyone there skills.

i think its sick to see snowboarders in ski movies and skiers in snowboard movies

but also in a way its wierd

its like watching MTB bikes in a bmx video or bmx bikes in a MTB video

but its good to throw something different in that catches the eyes of the viewers

well i dont have a problem with GOOD snowboarders... but i just hope they have good boarders in the movie. and if they do then the film should be ill cause it has some variety. so yeah no beef on snowboarders

Justin Norman is from here in Bend, Oregon. He just took a trip to colorado in january to film that. His segment this year for us is pretty sick :)
