You guys suck. Why hate on no poles? It looks sweet. Riders who don't use poles just mix it up a little bit, how can you not like that? Some people are dumb.
 
to be honest skiing with no poles does look dumb.. it just leaves you woundering where to put your hands, and you just let them dangle and flop to the sides as you turn.. with poles you have better balance and you can get aa more steady and smooth stance... no poles will never catch on
 
Even andy mahre rides with poles sometimes. its not like you even have a reason you are all just being trendy and trying to be like andy mahre. when you can actually do shit then you can ski with no poles. If you are a snow blader its just gay. Please try to find a good reason that you should not ride with poles.

yeah, but riding without poles forces you to be a more complete skier, demanding you to learn how to balance using primarily your legs and core. REPLY, BIATCH

Just like that pole, this thread is just an opinon. I personaly think no poles is stupid.
 
if poles 'help' you out so much...then i think that riders that dont use them are dope because they don't need that cheap ass help....
 
skiers use poles for a reason actually a number of reason skier who dont use them should chop off thier cocks and turn to snowboarding. if you dont ski with poles your gay so why not go all the way and castrate your self. others wise shut up and except the fact that no poles is gayer than mj giving an 8 year old a bj

i think u need to chill out man...no matter what u do, someone will think its gay...fuck em'...PERSONALLY...i think 1 foot grinds are dope, and dont overly like the whole no-poles buissness, but thast just me...why am i dumb becasue of that??? i just dont like the feeling of it becasue i have tried it before, and it looks to simple to me...but again, that is only my opinion, so just chill out man and do and think what U want, regardless of what other people think.
 
Thats cool if you want to ski without poles, i just think it looks stupid and takes away from skiing, makes you look like a blader/boarder not a skier. Poles are a universal skiing object, and they are part of the technique of turning, and you dont have to use them if you want if thats what u want to do.
 
poles are for hikers too. not just skiers. you look like hikers in hiking shorts when you use poles. i swear

hmmm i think that despite the fact poles can be used for a lot they are superfilous and uneccesary... Maybe they including mahre are following the suit of the originators of the "gorilla style" who also havppened to not use poles very frequently back in the day..
