40D Question

i dunno if this is a super easy fix or something but i bought a used 40D body and clearly the past user had his name in there so whenever i go into lightroom it says the creator is this guy's name and not mine. is there any way to change it so it automatically puts in my name? i can change it in lightroom but that's only per individual photo so i'm guessing it has something to do with the camera since lightroom is registered under my name
so in lightroom when i'm in library mode and clicked on an individual photo if i scroll down on the right where the metadata is it says the creator is ariel diaz (the dude who sold me the body) and i'd like it to automatically put in my name there so it doesn't look like i'm stealing ariel diaz's photos

Make a new default metadata template. I only use Bridge but if you can do it in Bridge you can do it in Lightroom I'm sure.

If it's a camera thing (as it is in this case), read the manual.

reading the manual is key, i figured alot out on my own just by shooting pictures and learning from mistakes but one and a half years after i got my camera i read the manual and learned that my camera will do pretty much twice the shit i thought it was originally able to do.

yep i read the manual when i first got it, this must've just slipped by, i'll go through again or try the disk thing that came with the cam
