maybe your internet connection blows? maybe you're a nerd who plays for 20 hours straight causing that shit to overheat? maybe god simply wants to you do something with your life?

Xbox Live has been messed up since before xmas. MS has said so, and they have apologized and shit. It's still messed up though, they haven't fixed it yet. Pretty annoying.
 
i did do something earlier i wrote a paper for my language arts class, then i went to play football with my friends and now im on ns pissed about it

i am not a nerd i am good at call of duty 4 so when i get the chance to play it i always do well that is why i am pissed that i cant play it. and i promised my cousin in Ireland that we would chill.

The live problems stink but it still works alright. Microsoft is gonna give away a free xbox live arcade game for our troubles. Its not much but its cool.

 
If you think the elite is anything special...its just and upgrade to make up for the lacking of things that come standard with a PS3
 
xbox > ps3

theres no halo for ps3, huge difference. plus the controllers are wayyyy more comfy and ps3 copied the trigger/bumper idea.
 
1st off, halo sucks, the fact that its not on ps3 is a sell point for me. Xbox live is no better than the playstation network, the store is simpler and its free. The ps3 has more memory, a blu ray player and comes with wireless that works compared to a hundred dollar one that doesnt... but no, xbox is cool..
 
your pissed about that? I have gone through 2 nintendo 64's trying to get mine to connect to the internet so that I can play mario cart with people in russia, plus not one of the 4 controllers I had worked anymore when I switched them to wireless. Worst of all, they are making less and less games for my console, and I am getting the feeling that they are about to release a new system that will make mine completely outdated.
 
congratulations! you've fallen for the features sony piles onto the PS3 to make up for the lack of native playstation games as opposed to ported xbox ones! have a cookie.
 
personally those features, such as a blu ray player are very important. I mainly play sports games and both xbox and ps3 have the same games. The extra features + free online is what really made my decision.
 
Congratulation, your able to see that sony marketed the ps3 like shit and listen to every 10 year old that has a headset. So xbox has hundreds of piece of shit games exclusive to it (excluding bioshock and mass effect), it doesnt make it a better system. Ps3 has just as many good exclusive games as xbox, plus all of the better features. And do you actually think sony thought "well, we arent going to get many games, so lets make a kick ass system", they probably thought more along the lines of "lets make a kick ass system and market it so poorly it becomes a media joke"

and i will have a cookie thank you, and i will enjoy it

 
that is the only downfall of the ps3 aside from no halo, their marketing was aweful, causing less people to buy it, causing game companies to pay more attention to xbox.

but aside from all of that, stop arguing about game systems and starting every argument with "Congratulations! ", because I am picturing you both as 40 year old fat men playing this in your moms basements, one wearing xbox sweatbands the other in playstation ones
 
yea me too. but im too lazy to call in for a new one. but until they send you the box. unhook everything from the box except the power cord, and wrap it in towels and turn it on for 15-20 minutes and then unwrap and let it cool for like 10 minutes. it fixes the box for a week or so. but then you really gotta send it in

i do have alot of free time but since the winter is finally coming for the east coast mostly every weekend from now on i will be shredding

you speak the truth brother... i personally own a 360 and everytime i start it up i cross my fingers that i don't get the red lights

all i gotta say with both of those systems is that they are worthless without the game SKATE

I hate how everyone loves the 360(which I have) so much. It's NOT cool for half of the systems to fail and have to send them in and wait 4 weeks for them to be repaired. Everyone talks about the red ring like it will inevitably happen, or it has happened, but no one cares.
