Get an audiobook. It will be good listening, and if you get something interesting, you can get your parents to listen too, which should shut them up if that's something you want to do.

I drove from MT to ME In June, and audiobooks saved my life. It was actually pretty pleasant doing all the driving while listening to John Grisham.
