4 FRNT skis?

I know there was a thread about these new skis by Matt Sterbenz awhile back - but does anyone have any new feedback on the skis or the company since Matt has had them up at Whistler? They sound pretty sweet to me, but I'd like to hear what others think...

yah, steele had them at camp (haha, i agree with you jen, he is ridiculously good looking...damnit!)...he said they were nice, and he rode them for the wohle week so he must have liked them.

No, no shops are carrying them, yet.

They are going to be, well, almost an 'elite' brand. They want the shops and employees to KNOW about the skis. They want them to be well priced. And they want them to get out there, at the real shops, not like your local Dick's Sporting Goods. But your local mom-and-pop freeride shop, maybe.

they are super good, mainly for repair purposes. I mean, if you get a whole in the bottom of your ski, you can just ptex it up, right? right. now it's the same concept, pretty much, with your sidewall. :-)

so its sweet, but is it still strong is what i'm asking yes i know if its damaged it can be repaired yah but does it hold up decently? like overall without repairs how strong is it i guess or how easily can it be damaged...

Snowboard companies have been using PTex for thier sidewalls for a while. Neversummer, most noteably. It makes them super-durable.

Yeah, they have been getting some rad feedback. Most of the folks that have ridden them up here are thinking that the prototype that they have out right now will make a great all-mountain job ski like the Scratch BC or PocketRocket.

4FRNT will get big, whether you want to realize it or not.

You might as well admit it to yourself, and get your money saved up REAL quick.
