all you know is they cost a lot, and your thinking of buying them. just cuz there expensive doesnt mean there the best

i didnt say they were the best, i just want to see what other people hav to say about them

They area bit pricey but they are so great, I rode the msp for one year and all I have to say is that this ski can do it all from from powder to park to groomed. they are super stable and I was not afraid at allgoing at mach 3 fakie with those.

This year, I skied the Stl fro 2 monthys and I'm compltetly satisfied with the ski. the ski have so much pop, it's incredible. they fell so light andthey are some of the best carverin the twin tip categori both foward then backward.

So 4frnt is making som of the best skis in the industry, the graphics are dope and the company really care about the sport and the people making it progress.

So if you want a great ski and/or wanna support peoples who realy support you 4 frnt is one good choice

i like mine, i have 180 msps, they are really solid for landing tricks, but they are stiff, if u want a less stiff si go with the stls, but 4 frnt makes good skis

i have 180 msps. i really like how they ski, but before buying them, you have to know that its not a turny ski. 25m turning radius does not make short quick turns, but that suits my style of skiing. they work OK on groomers, obviously not as well as something a little narrower though. they held an edge well before i hit rails with them. i have been on my current pair for maybe a month and i cracked an edge in 3 places underfoot, which is my only complaint thus far. durability wise, they arent quite as bombproof as everyone hyped them up to be, but still a very solid ski. they are holding up much better than my 1080s or my brother's troublemakers did. i had an issue earlier this season with another pair of 4frnts and everyone at 4frnt was very helpful with getting me a new pair of skis as quickly as possible. props to 4frnt for making an all around solid product backed by the best customer service i have encountered with any ski company so far. dynastar woulndt warrenty my brother's TMs that were snapped in half and 4frnt gave me a new pair for a bubble in the topsheet.

how are the msp's in park? cause there graphics are so much nicer this year than the stl's

I have 183 stl's, they're incredibly light, feel like nothing. They're fun in the park, but seem to soft for skiing hard out of the park. I'm considering selling them, they only have 2 days on them.

i have some msp 170's. an awesome all mountain ski.

i skied msps for this whole season. i didnt really like them all that much. cosmetically they get destroyed very fast. they arent very good for carving. they arent that great for riding switch due to the pintail desighn.

they are however awesome for deep snow and wide open turns.

Are the edges of the STL reccessed? I have been skiing mine for a week or so and it seems to me like they are base high. It could be that they came base high for initial tuning, or it could be like that for sliding rails? So far I am do not like the way they ski on piste, but base high could explain that... I hope.

This is my frist year on my msp's and I absolutely love them. They've been great in powder, park, trees, basically anything. The topsheets have been chipping a bit, but it's just cosmetic stuff so it really doesn't bother me in the least.

pin tail desighn is when the tail is significantly smaller than the tip. that way you get more sink in the tails and more float on the tip. easier powder riding.

i know of lik 4 ppl w/ this icon

the edges of the topsheets get a little rough, but they don't actually ""chip"" (like lose big chunks). the rep told me they have a new topsheet next season to fix that. they're take some wear for the first few weeks you have them, then they don't really get worse after that.....it's kinda like the little rubber knobbies you get on new bike tires. and yeah they aren't going to get you down an icy slalom course too fast, but for carving big turns on normal snow they are perfect. and in my opinion they are rockstars switch

um holyhucker i got the icon from the napoleon dynamite website, cropped it so it would fit and put the black border around it myself.

so if their icon looks the same as mine, then they obviously got it from me.

ive skiied the msp on several occasions and can safely say that it doesnt hold a candle to my public enemies

yeah, i definatly agree, stls are the best rail/jib ski ever made, but they suck on big jumps, they are just too soft to handle it. however, they ski switch better than anything ive ever ridden ( i regularly out ski people switch on these things.) and the are very balanced (steeles mount) for rails. sick for jibbing, crappy for bigger jumps.

I've had no ploblems with my STLs on hits that are like 65 footers and smaller, bigger than that they get a little noodley

they are by far the lightest skis ive ever held or ridden on. i dont know about the sidewalls though, i hear that they are not very durable.
