Rev those engines!

Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are in negotiations to reunite for the

fourth installment of Universal's "Fast and the Furious" franchise.

Justin Lin and Chris Morgan, who were behind "Fast and the Furious:

Tokyo Drift," are returning to directing and writing duties,

respectively.

Neal Moritz will produce the as-yet-untitled installment along with Diesel, who will produce through his One Race Films banner.

The story line is being kept under wraps, but fast cars are involved. A

spring start is anticipated with shooting in Los Angeles, Mexico and

the Dominican Republic.

The first "Furious," released in 2001, was a surprise hit, grossing

more than $144 million and creating a franchise for the studio while

making stars our of Diesel and Walker. Only Walker returned for the

sequel, "2 Fast 2 Furious," and sat out the third installment, 2005's

"Tokyo Drift." That movie had relative newcomer Lucas Black in the

driver's seat but did feature Diesel in a cameo at the end of the

movie. His appearance was so well received that it was even mentioned

in ads.

horrible movie series, no need to keep this crap going. the title doesn't even make sense, at least 2 fast 2 furious does.

I loved the first one. It had a huge impact on our society i think ( good and bad). But since then they have all been crap

I agree the first one was rad. I didnt even bother to waste any of my life on tokyo drift, that was just producers trying to milk the last drops out of the tit of the series. Perhaps theyve let their udders replenish themselves with lactive creativity so we can expect a better movie. I guess if Diesel is getting back on board we should expect something badass.

the first was good, but the whole train scene was ghey.

the second blew.

i really liked the third one because of all the cheesiness. and the soundtrack was baller. haha.

First movie was good. Second sucked, third sucked. I think that's the most asians I've ever seen in a Hollywood production. I bet the fourth will suck too.

I liked some of the FF3 soundtrack though.

first one was the only good one...totally ruined it by making the other ones especially tokyo drift that movie was fucking terrible

first one great second one suckd third ok/to bad but good driving and i the cameo was pretty sweet

agreed. Vin and Paul had a good connection i think acting whise and made the movie entirely. if they can have that same chemistry n shit as the frist one, it'll be bomb. And whot he fuck cares about a title

I love them all. You gotta watch them all again with the directors commentary on and watch the "making of" for each movie. Some of the shots were so intense, you gotta admire that. And you have to admit that filming the scene in Tokyo drift were they drive thought the crow was sweet. It was filmed in one continuous shot using a shifter kart and the whole city b.g. was edited over shipping crates piled high.
