where has dion been??? in the freeze magazine when they asked larose who he likes to ki with he did not evan menchin sion.. the onyl stuff i have seen of dion all year is in royalty... any1 no whats up?

 
Ya, I totaly noticed that too. Thats a slap in the face for Dion to not be mentioned as who he likes to ski with.

He is in Propaganda, and in Subject to Change. Yeah he isnt in magazines much but the only ski movie the other phils were in that he wasnt was Ski Movie 2, and thats cause they only showed 1 shot each.

Seriously, dion is still a good skier, but he is not at a competitive level, that's why we are seeing less and less of him every year.

He is still probably skiing, but I bet he is working with dynastar more then he is slkiing.

He wasn't invited to the WSSF either. He also wasn't at the X-Games. In Royalt in the interview part on the DVd he talks about how he has been depressed in the last couple of years and how he doesn't do well in comps and he is going to talk to his sponsors and stuff about it etc. He definatley hasn't had as much exposure and the whole rumour about him being gay didn't help either. I don't really know whats going on, but I've noticed this too. Everyone knew that it was gonna happen sooner or later, did they really expect to be the three phils forever? Of course one of them is gonna get more popular, or do better in contests or get approached by different sponsors. The three phils are still some of my favorite skiers though without a doubt.

well if you look at what each of their bags of tricks are and who wins the most comps, dion is definatley the worst of them, Im not ripping on Dion cause one of us is the worst out of our friends, that is just how it is, he just isnt as good but he still kicks ass

 
i never heard that rumour... and um, ya, Dion is a good skier, not amazing, but he still is really, really good. i respect his skiing, and everyone else should to. It's too bad he's not in the spotlight as much anymore.

I remember in '13' Dion had the best part out of all the Phils. Now he gets shit all for coverage. He does have a pretty big part in Volume #5.

He just simply isn't as good as the other two though. Larose kicks ass, Biggest bag of tricks of anyone.

 
He still can rip from what Ive seen in the movies. I just dont think he just not as good as the others, but I he is still a pro skier!

its not like he just quit skiing...

hes still around somewhere but he doesnt seem to promote himself as much as belanger and larose. and he usually doesnt have as good of segments. In spun belanger and larose put him to shame.

my opinion is that Dion just isn't at the same level as the other two phils. Both larose and belanger have their own very differents styles, Dions is kind of a little bit of both. I'm not saying he doesn't rip, he's just not at the same level. He just seems to be in the other two Phils shadows.

Yeah Dion is a good skier and shit like people said but Belenger and Larose are prob in the top 5 freeskiers. Its tough to keep up with those guys. But some of his corked shit looks ill.

When I was up in mammoth this year all three of the phils were sessioning the park all day, along with Boyd and Sarah. Dion was doing switch 270's and 180's off of all of mammoths rails, and throwing huge switch rodeos off the biggest table. He may not be as popular on the movies, but I gaurantee that he could school most people.

Seriously, I think he will concentrate only on getting filmed for movies.

well... i dont know much but like... maybe as i once heard a rumor... they 3 phis are tired of being 'the 3 phils' like... 1 takes a blow.. they all take a blow.. thay arent known very well as. larose,dion and belanger... they are known socially as the phils or 3 phils.... so perhaps they are just tired of being a 3 some.. and dion is just trying to get s life so to speak away from it all. and maybe. stop being so much of a 3 some and get recopgnized as his own individual...

and to answerwhoever asked.. no i dont think dion would be as big of a pro as he is if he wasnt apart of the 3 phils..... i mean... like the 3 phils was a great sponsorship deal.... its way easier to recognize a group of three in a crowd than just one...

i think it's phil dion in the subject to change trailer that 50-50s that double kink rail at camp of champs.

and phil dion is like the business representative for the 3 of them. he handles sponsorship stuff and stuff like that.
