3d glasses= gopro filter?

Wow. Why not read the thread before posting. They are referring to the polarized glasses you get at the theater, which are easier to get for some people than going out and buying a proper filter.

I was wondering wtf he was talking about...

OP people sell polarizing filters/nd filters for gopros.

Ehealth, the man of cameras made a mistake, and is now being ripped hard. I find this funny, at ehealths expense.

since you misspelled it twice, i can only assume that you actually think his username is "ehealth". i find this funny, at your expense.

and a big bahahaha at eheath being a dick for no reason. i usually feel like the hate on him is unwarranted, but maybe he is just a bitter guy.

finally, i think the thread the guy posted earlier is the one you're looking for.

I mean to be fair, i dunno how you would make a hard plastic 3d glasses into a filter, the red/blue ones made more sense to me since they're always made with thin flimsy plastic. Oh well.

yeah this is what im wondering as well. how do you place the hard plastic in the case? anyone got any tricks? the tgr thread didn't seem to give away this info

he misunderstood the OP, so everyone chill the fuck out. and @OP idk how that would work but it seems interesting let us know if it works

I've done this - it works well - stops the need to colour correct when the footage is whitewashed by the sun off the snow. Also If you get the orientation of the polarizer correct you'll get nice effects with the sky, especially on sunny days, with the sky at the top of the frame dark and the sky closer to the horizon lighter. Can look very dramatic. And you'll be able to cut out reflections when filming through windows etc. as long as the polarizer is out/in phase (can't remember which).

Yeah that was the thread I was looking for... The "new" 3d lenses you get at movies isn't as hard of plastic as you'd think... It's pretty flimsy. I just cut out a circle and fit it into my gopro case pretty easily. It folds a bit trying to fit it inthe fisheye shaped lens , but you can't see the folds through the gopro
