so as im crawling out of bed this morning to get first chair at my mountain i see that i have 37 WHOLE FUCKING INCHES OF POWDER SNOWING ME IN AND KEEPING ME FROM SHREDDING THE MOST SNOW IVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE... is 37 inches of powder a good thing or a bad thing? ive never heard of too much snow until now

obviously a good thing. dig your way out or jump out a window... it will be worth it.

Time to get creative and shred everything within walking distance. Oh, and beware of roof avalanches.

hopefully you have snowshoes, put them on, and hike up to the top of sundown, shred. Remember to lean back hard as I am assuming you are on short park skis.

Oh, and yeah... this is a good thing.

when we get hit, we get hit hard. I don't remember any times when I was out west when they got 3feet.

i have over 2 feet in southern CT

So FUCKING STOKED for you guys right now. Do whatever you need to do to get to a hill. Put your skis on your feet and walk. Just fucking go and be merry!

The majority of people on this site that live on the East Coast aren't old enough to move to the west or they truely enjoy being in the east as far as living goes. So yeah, be fucking stoked for them, they are getting a little taste of heaven!

That and 37 inches is a lot for anywhere overnight. Even the west.

Man we didn't even get a ton at Stratton but I was more stoked than you could imagine. I found some mini east coast pillows and had a blast today.

Spent a while bushwacking, but eventually found some nice lines.

haha oh man, this was one of the biggest storms in history for the east coast? when you guys get hit it's a "state of emergency" when we get hit we're ready and we'll be skiing the next day.

pretty sure Silverton got 50" plus a week or two ago with a storm that hit the san juans... (in one of the shittiest seasons).. nice try east coast shredderrrrrr
