i cant get enough spin to get my 360 i keep getting like 300 - 320 n falling on my face

anyone have any hints or pointers

 
just keep looking over your shoulder and commit man it takes a couple of tries but after it's easy don't worry just commit to your spin and you'll get her

look over your shoulder the whole rotation and spot your landing as you come around. Your body will follow.

look, you don't just stop in the air. this is impossible...so go, build a bigger jump and go for it. if you have like 2 meters of height and enough speed, it's no problem!

 
if ur just startin out doing alot of 180s can make ur 360s harder. if u never get used to spinning more then that 180 itll make it even harder.

 
just approach the lip calm and wind up a little and just pop and look over you're shoulder.

Just get your skis at the width of your shoulders, pop, give a hip whip (haha) and look over your shoulder, spot your landing and ride away like a champ. Don't start to spin on the jump.

 
combine more air, more weed, and more balls and keep your shoulders and arms set into your rotation. your legs will follow. and look for your landing because if you don't, there will be that time that you don't know you are off balance and when you land, you will eat shit. lots and lots of shit

dont listen to anyone. just tell your self you are gonna do it and spin. it helps to learn to ski first. dont start spinning out of ski school.

practice doing flat spins and sliding your skis, then work on the 3 on a smaller jump, you should be able to slide it out if you under-rotate a bit. other than that, spin a little faster...

 
dont use your arms in 360's it'll just set you out of the axis and seperate your feet. Your them a bit, but use your hips/shoulder/head to spin it.

 
skiing high is sooo sweet, it all feels so clean, and i feel so stable and confortable in the air, i love it, did my first real park jump ever stoned, it was like 35 feet, i cant do threes either, havent really tried one, never find a good enough jump, all the park hits are too big and all the run hits are too small

spot the landing and do 100 of em it will come together there is no secret just look a the landing and do many many of them until it comes together.

Note: switch 3's are quite a bit easier for me but it doesn't matter b/c you need to know both.

When I was starting to spin I would approach the jump with both poles on the opposite side i spin. On take-off throw your arms around, look over your shoulder and you'll get more spin. I can do 3's without the arms now but I still use it when attempting 720s

 
seriously....the easiest way to learn them is to do them off a super small jump....thats how i learned them and taught my brother to do them too.....

go up to a 2ft high jump....you dont need to be going THAT fast....cock your arms back.....when you jump.....throw your arms around....look around.. keep looking until you see something that was straight infront of you before you took off...you may need to whip your feet around at about 270 to finish it off.......when you do this....dont post your movies just yet......your pencil steeze and lack of hieght will get you laughed off the site....so just keep doing them...and keep working up on bigger jumps....slowly cocking less, and bringing up you knees more and more....pretty soon you'll be pulling slow steezy threes! :)

 
If your under rotating get off the 2ft jump and go big more air=more time to rotate.

It will help if your high because you will have no fear

 
try leaning back super far and kickig your skis above your head. once you get upside down, stop the rotation and see how that goes.

man i may be a noobie and i only got 3's yesturday but i did it of a

2 foot ramp.

its not hard just wiend up and spin

 
I'm assuming you can do 180s. Well when you do 180s you look back towards the jump. What you should do is when you look over your shoulder don't look down at the jump look in the air. Than your body will naturally find the first place to land. If you look back at the landing than you land switch, or you stall your rotation. Look in the air, bring your knees up, relax, use your arms but don't wind them up.

cuz your used to only spinning a 180, then when you try a 3 you dont huck as hard?? not a very good theory but whatever... my suggestion is stop being such a pussy, learn how to ski, and just spin faster. if your not rotating fully, then what do you think you need to do?? spin slower? obviously not so just dont be dumb and go do it.

i start my 3 with my body twisted a bit then i pop off the jump and once im in the air i try and twist my upperbody and head first. i get it every time.

 
next time u are skiing go off the biggest jump you can find and just as you take off pop out of both your bindings, then while you flail wildly in the air you should consider why anyone would give you a answer which would be any more helpful than the other trillion times this question has been posted. for the rest of your flight you should meditate on the use of the search bar and its origins.
