360's

lead with your right hand if you spin left, visa versa. Also, don't try to force it. Just pop off the lip, lead with your hand and spot your landing.

sorry to bring back such an old thread but im having a similar problem.
i can get 180º there but once i try and go the next 180º i start like flailing, i run out of momentum and start spinning and usually land about 210º

when your walking around just spin. spin everywhere. then best advice i got on threes is dont prespin too much cause sometimes you spin fast for the first 270 or so then slow down. you should just come up to the jump (15ft) and after you pop turn your head and kinda float around and look for your landing

I love it when people quote others from three years ago, asking them questions and commenting as if it was posted yesterday.

thank you!

someone with some sense!!!!!

honestly whoever says just do it man go bigger jumps and whip it as hard as you can dont know shit. you dont even need a jump for 3s just use a mougle ar go in the mini park thos jumps are plenty big enough and never spread the legs or carve into jumps its a terrible habit

you can honestly pull 3's off of anything, even rollers. Some tips:-Dont wind your arms (very bad habbit and scrubby)-Turn your shoulders and look over your shoulder (everyone says it, but its very true)-Dont be scared trying it on a big jump, if you can rotate it but are having trouble w/ the landing, you usually arent spinning hard enough to have a bad crash; usually just a washout-Stay calm. Keep your arms under control, but dont be surprised if one goes up to keep your balance. What i do is I spin left, and saftey grab my right ski to keep my body from flayling-Practice them on small shit like rollers n stuff just working on turning your shoulders n shit

Its honestly all about practice. Keep at it though. Once you get them down, they're (in my opinion) the most fun trick because its nice and smooth and easy to learn grabs with.
