360° Ski edit... MIND = BLOWN !

this is actually expected and slightly gay. now if the riding was good, the quality was high and the music didn't set my teeth on edge AND IT WAS IN 3D....i might be impressed.

This is a cool idea. But that was not fun trying to follow around the skiers... I would rather just let a professional filmer do his thing and put the edit in front of me the way it should be.

if anyone noticed the thing he was wearing for the camera, it would suck to be the camera guy. but that was sweet

That's a super sick idea. It makes watching the video an active experience, in that you have to know what's going on and follow it.

However, I think it cuts down on that artistry involved in filmmaking, in that we get less of an idea of the intended effect desired by the filmmaker and more of an avalanche of things to look at.

If a filmer were to use that camera and then embed the movements they desired, I could see that opening up some serious possibilities.

lol u are missing the entire point man! click and on the screen and drag the mouse around...

holy shit i missed that entire part. i was watching and reading comments and thinking you were all crazy. after watching again that was awesome

Am I the only one that thinks this really sucks? I hate having to do work while having to watch the edit. Half the time I had no idea where I was supposed to be looking. I prefer the normal edit!

Pretty cool, but I too missed some of the skiing just cause I was trying to find it. I kept looking around to see if there was more than one thing happening at one time. You'll have to watch it several times to see everything in it I bet.

Sick but yeah, it is easy to miss parts which I'm pretty sure i did. Maybe if there is a way, you can start the shot with the way your intended to look and then if the viewer wants to look at something else they can. IDK if thats possible, but it'd help.
