I can say I got 360s down last night up skiing but I need help with consistency. I was doing them on a small-medium side hit, but How can I have more control over the spin? How do I stay more balanced? It felt like landing them was more luck than skill. Any tips help, thanks

The biggest thing for me is making sure i get my windup and pop right. When throwing your arms to initiate the spin think of it like throwing a punch instead of putting one arm across your body. If spinning left throw a right hook, if spinning right throw a left hook. Also remember that keeping your head looking over your shoulder and keeping it up (dont look at the ground under your armpit) is key to mainting balance and momentum.

It also helps if you find a side hit that cuts uphill pretty steep at first, that way it onlu feels like spinning a 270.

Keep em coming and you will start stomping!

Every time when I try to spin I pop and spin way too early and my rear edge catches the snow, therefore my bindings release. I know that this is a mistake and I need to be more patient but I think that I won't spin fast enough and land sideways and catapult myself. Are there any tips for this case or will it all come with practice?

I do this when I'm trying to do switch 1s. Just be patient wait til u are almost off the jump then pop and spin.

Make sure you have a lot of pressure on the tongues of your boots. It helps you control the rotation a lot more and not land backseat.

Pop off the jump, like that means you literally bend your knees and jump off the jump. This doesn't have to be super hard but do it enough so it will give you some control, set your arms like a T throughout the spin, this will help with balance and will help with grabs later on. Wind up a little bit but not to much. And then set the spin keeping you head straight up and down and look over your shoulder to spot your landing. So pop and then spin just like you would jumping on the ground and remember to set your T. It is different for everyone and people have their own way of doing it, this really helped me learn them and the more you try it you will just figure it out. If your edge is getting caught on the take off you might be initiating the spin before you actually pop, that's the only thing I could think of.
