360 help?

your not popping correctly off the lip of the jump, make sure to balance your weight evenly between both feet shoulder width pop evenly and throw the spin spot the landing and ride away like a thuggggg
o yea trick tip cult son

As everyone has said, trick tip, and aslo askturpin is a good one too.

The popping was great advice. Also the way you look over your shoulder has a big effect on it. Just look straight over, not over and down.

maybe your spinning to early which causes you to carve into it a little and go cork.it happened to me a lot.just start the rotation a little later

when you pop off the lip make sure you have a lot of forward shin pressure and make sure you do get a good solid pop and then spin

this happens alot when people are learning to spin...even off little jumps. as alot of people above me have said...you need to pop THEN spin. you are probably rushing it becuase it is a bigger jump then you are used to spinning off of. so make sure you are completely comfortable with the jump and remember ATML

A = approach (go into the jump knees bent ready to pop)

T = Takeoff (pop off the lip)

M = Maneuver (do your 360)

L = Landing (land and afterbang!)

good luck dude! keep practicing! you will get it!!!

do some fruit booting. and tramp a whole bunch.

it's all about leading with your head and spotting that landing. fruitbooting helped me....

This! And it also has a lot to do with when you are looking at the ground. You need to try not to spot the ground until you are at 270 if you want to keep it stock. I try to keep my eyes up and just enyoy the scenery on the way around until I get to 270; then I look down. Just the tiny movement of looking down is usually enough to go off axis. Based on what you are describing I would say that you are probably looking down at the jump when you start your rotation or you're looking down just past 180. Either one of those will send you corked, but not enough to stick the landing.

i had the exact same problem this season, and then on the last day i went skiing i just stopped doing that. i think its because i started spinning to early, but thats just me

Good advice right here. You can literally look up hill at 180. You could look for the start of the run-in for example, then bring it around to 3. You need to keep your vision up or it will fuck you over. As Mr. Huck said, "...just enjoy the scenery on the way around..."

Sort of bend forward until you are straight up and down before you pop so you dont lean back or forward in the air, and just do all that ^

Had this problem in 07. What fixed it was simple. Bite your shoulder. Don't look up and over your shoulder, look down and over your shoulder. Seriously, it was fucking pissing me off forever. Just look down a bit and think biting your shoulder. It'll totally fix it. You should see ground a bit while spinning, not all sky. That's what through me off axis.

yeah,, ATML works. make sure your not carving into the jump before you pop..

Another things is, when I was learning some new tricks, I didn't have my legs wide enough, idk if having em to small will make you cork it but i was able to spin easier when i opened my legs a little more

move your head and with the right pop your body is rotating on its natural axis following your head

The most commom problem, and it sounds like you have the same one, is starting to spin too early. Practice by just hitting the jump a few times just popping and trying to get some hang time. After a couple of those maybe do a nice slow 1 and then go for the 3.
