i've landed some 3's in my backyard.....tried them plenty of times at my hill and can't seem to get them right......i get 270 and my skis hit and i eject....i've been told to keep my legs together and spin with your legs close....I can 180 off of anything and can do them in my sleep and WHen i do 180's i always do them with a grab.....so do you think it will be easier for me to try a 360 with a grab and tuck my self up to get the grab??????? please give me some help cuz if i can get a 3 it will just be so much easier

yeah put a grab in..

if you are ejecting out of your bindings mid-spin, i'd be craking the DINs up half a notch and see if it makes any difference.

Make sure that you are popping before spinning, and not spinning while still on the lip. That could help. After you pop bring your legs up. When you bring your legs up, you can get grabs really easy and you don't really have to reach for them, unless they are more complicated grabs.

hes right it is so much easier off bigger jumps. You just have more time and spotting your landing is easy where as off a three footer it is near impossible

thats perfect. remember to keep your chin tucked into the shoulder that your spinning towards. it'll keep you spinning until you can see your landing and stick it...

^Yeah for real...

All your spinmomentum should come from your shoulders, through your hips, then finally to the skis. Throw your shoulders and your skis will follow... If you can land them in your backyard they will be easier off a real jump. The real key is to COMMIT COMMIT COMMIT

Change the first sentence to...

"All your spinmomentum should come from your head/neck, through your shoulders, through your hips, then finally to the skis"

Your shoulders will follow where you're looking naturally. Just sitting in a rotating desk chair, look over your should trying to look at the ground behind you without turning the rest of your body. it will be incredibly difficult if not impossible.

Looking over the shoulder is absolutely KEY. As long as you commit to looking over your shoulder, you will keep spinning. If you half-ass it, you WILL fall.

I had the same problem. For some reason learning switch 180s helped. But just keep turning your head on a medium jump and you should get it.
