are any of you doing the 36 hour team thing, they raised the price a shit load and you have to buy a hotel for friday night it fuckin' gay, stupid ass rich resorts
 
prizes include a lot of shit, it is fun if you wanna go at it and really try and win.

It is really fun to just go up and ride, get a hotel with like 4 or 5 people. You wont really sleep in the damn thing, you just pass out there
 
if you do the team thing you will get a lot of free shit but it's not worth it for how expensive it is this year. But skiing for 36 hours is pretty sweet
 
you dont really get that much free shit. i did it last year and at the end of the 36 hours they raffle some shit off but its not that great. i got shanghai six and it really sucks. you have a chance to win 3600 bucks but there are like 150 teams that win so you have a 1 in 150 chance of winning. its really no worth it. you take a run, then wait 30 mins at hte gondola waiting to go up again for hte next hour
 
does it really get that crowded, i'll just stay at the other lifts then, the back mountains probably aren't crowded at all then

Like I said, if you really want to go for it and try to win, do the team thing. If you just wanna chill with hot girls and ride and drink and whatever else than it's so much more worth it to save the cash for the event and spend it on booze.

I'm heading up there with a bunch of the Liberty crew. We will definitly have girls and booze. Hollar at me if ur gonna be there.

 
its not a matter of it being crowded. ill explain how the whole thing works. basically, the goal is for at least 1 member of your team to take a run up the gondola (cause the checkpoint is at hte gondola) every hour. you really only have time for 1 run per hour with the lines and since you get so tired. so basically what happens is at hte beginning of the hour the line starts moving for the gondola and they add another run to your teams score and then you take hte run, get down with like 30 minutes to go until the next hour begins. so ya, you end up sitting on your ass for a long time all throughout hte night and day. its really not that fun. not to mention that around 150 teams make it through the 36 hours so you barely have any chance of winning the $3600. they raffle off prizes but they are pretty crappy prizes. our team won copies of shanghai six. id say its not really worth it for everyone on your team to pay 36 bucks to enter when you could just ski for free if you have a keystone pass.
