Hey i want to purchase a cheap vintage 35mm cam just to play around with this summer and was wondering if someone with some knowledge in the area could suggest what brands i should be looking at and maybe a selection a lenses. Right now im leanin towards nikon because they seem quality and my mom has some nice lenses for her old nikon (light leaked) laying around that i could swipe.

thanx

I think he's gonna wanna stay away from a holga maybe.

And if you have a light leaked camera, shoot with that, the shots always turn out fucking awesome.

just get a 90's film SLR like a Rebel G, it'll be super cheap but have all the functions you'd need.

me too with out the drunk..

dont have enough room in my house to put in a darkroom, so I just bought the 35mm back..

you dont need a darkroom for developing film. you can put the film in developing tank if you are in a dark bathroom or closet(no light in it at all) or for around 30 bucks you can get a changing bag.

I use my parents old 35mm camera. Canon AE-1 is very popular, and often on craigslist. basically pentax, canon, minolta and nikon make the best film cameras. check out craigslist! theres tons.
