350Z

good deal if you don't mind a car without a clean title. i'd get a full history report before bidding. if it has a salvage title, you don't know without checking what kind of hell that car's been through. a guy i know got a car at auction, salvage title, but he said whatever, it's a great deal. about three weeks later the transmission went and he, obviously, wasn't under warranty. all i'm saying is do your research.

since you don't know much about cars, this is one of those times for you to sit on your hands and not respond. this has the potential to be a bad deal, regardless of price. i mean, in case you missed it, the owner is running a spare on the front right tire... there has to be a reason for that and it can't be good. who knows what else might be wrong or waiting to break? gotta do some thorough research.

i know the outside is bad... the wheel and tires will be a few grand... im trying to get a history resort and contact the seller now

Its a good deal for the car but you are going to have to put lots of money and time into that. If you get it you should deffinatly have someone check it out before you actualy buy it.

yeah im trying to have some one check it out in person too i live in md but go to school in nc... anyone wanna check it out? i can pay ya

If you read about it you could find out it was slid off the road into a curb. Some broken body parts and whatnot. If you don't know how to work on cars and are not in the autobody industry I'd say don't go for it. Sounds fishy.

Reading the description, and looking closely at the pics, it looks like that car has some serious undercarriage damage. Yes, overall it looks good, but you're just seeing the body, which means NOTHING. I'm guessing it is worse than he describes it, and it went into a ditch at high speeds. There's no telling what was mangled under there. Even if things work correctly for now, they will most likely die in the near future. That looks like a money pit to me, and I'd suggest you stay away.

that car has been wrecked and has a lot of damage. it's gonna take a lot of work and money to make it look good. too much work in my opinion. it's not driving "straight", which leads me to believe that there is some serious damage to the frame or undercarriage, something that a simple alignment can't fix. it has a salvage title, which is usually never a good thing. it seems like a bad deal. i definitely wouldn't buy it without looking at it in person and having it checked out by a shop.

that's actually a screamin price for that car, so it's not "that much". the rest of it you got right... it's in shitty shape.

sorry to hop on the bandwagon and say its got some problems but ya it does. new tires will be a couple hundred or up to 1g if u get high performance. the right faring would be expensive to replace because those cars are fancy.

so i talked to the guy...

its beaten and i think the real problem is how it runs, not just paint and shit like that.

i need another vehicle to replace my truck that just died so yeah im goin to pass on this, but its an opportunity for soemone else... possibly

thanks for all your help

yea I would say the ONLY time salvage cars are ever remotely worth it are if you are a mechanic and can do the work on it yourself for just the cost of parts, otherwise you probably would've ended up spending over $20k to all together to have that thing working. good choice to pass.

ahahahaha, dont buy it. the description is super funny. let's go through reasons:

1) RUNS AND DRIVES FINE, BUT NEEDS SOME TLC.

2)THE AUTOMETER BOOST AND FUEL RATIO GAUGES. THEY ARE NOT HOOKED UP.

3) HAS THE INTERCOOLER AND ALL THE PLUMING FOR THE TURBO. IT DOES NOT HAVE A TURBO. TURBO NOT INCLUDED.

4)THE TIRES NEED TO BE REPLACED

actually I didn't really need to go further. the whole description is a joke.

YOU CAN BE DRIVING. FIX THE REST AT YOUR LEISURE. CLEAN TITLE WITH CARFAX. PREVIOUS OWNER ACCIDENT ON 2/2007 (CARFAX) SALVAGE TITLE ISSUED, SOLD AT AUCTION IN AS IS CONDITION. THATS ABOUT IT. I WOULD NOT DRIVE THIS CAR HOME WITH THE MINI-SPARE.

it could be a good deal for someone who knows exactly what they are getting into. otherwise, NO

the old owners romped the piss out of that car, when you see that you need to give it TLC=not worth it

You gotta be careful with any little jap sports car especially anything with a turbo cuz you can bet whoever owned it was driving like they stole it.

gay ass car i love how it has a intercooler bov turbo piping but doesnt have a fuckin turbo waste of fuckin money

Nope I would not own that car, seen he had a front mount but no turbo don't know if he took it out...but the internals are probably not set up for a turbo it would need low compression pistons if u run high boost on high compression pistons equals boom..

be pointless to even turbo that without dumping another 5,000 into that car running low boost will not do anything amazing.

450z 4.6 v8 is coming out soon prices on the 350z will drop a lot...if u can find a stock one then that's the way to go.

for 11,000 dollar range u can get a agp 50 trim srt4 low low 12 second car running 27 pounds of boost those cars run forever too.

maybe not. i ran my car up a curb goin thru a round about going like 40 like a dumbass. and my alignment was off and i had to get like two new tires because they popped but that was it.

NO!! Thats not a good deal. Intercooler with no turbo? He had one but took it out. Most likley running a single turbo setup with a huge turbo. V-6 runs much better off a sequntial turbo. Considering that he had to custom design his own turbo setup. Trial and error is horrible on an engine especially when fucking with the fuel/air ratio. He also cracked a rim. Looks like he had sf challenge volks which are dam strong forged rims. He was drifting and probably cracked that shit. Doesn't drive straight, its not the alignment. Most likley bent some suspension components when he hit the curb. If he didn't bend his frame. The mileage is ok for the year, but if your running above 4000 rpms for most of its life, its bad. The 350z, thats where the sweet spot is. 4000-6500 rpms, the fucken engine purrs. After skimming over the description this is what I got. For reference I got a G35. Same ride but rear seats, more luxory, higher class. I've Never lost to a 350z too.

dont waste your money.

you have to dump liike another 5G's into it to get it back to what it was, and like said before someone probably drove the piss out of it. they most likeely half-assed all the mods, note the intercooler with no turbo. my friend bought a focus like how this 350 is with all the goodies, 2 owners, and he has had nothing but problems, and its a piece of shit.
