my statement was too short..
my point was that it makes more sense to go to a good school, get a good education, and work for a living rather than survive off of lottery money and ignore your opportunities to better yourself. i don't mean that you have to go to an Ivy league school and become a desk jockey... i mean, why not pick your favorite subject/hobby/interest and get educated enough about it to the point where youcan do whatever you want.. and be successful at it.
my example... if i was to win $X,000,000, i would do the things everyone else would (to a point..), like buy a nice house, car, etc., and then set myself up with the schooling and equipment/facilities to take my interest in cars even further. i would do the same with photography. now i don't expect to automatically be guaranteed success in my business and be some kind of amazing world changing person, but at least i'll have something to show for myself, and at least i'll be doing something with my life. i would get bored out of my mind having a shitload of cash and living the stereotypical life of a celebrity, doing nothing except spending money... and that was my point, that it is stupid to win the lottery and do nothing except 'live large'. i dunno, hope that makes sense.
