yea so i found out that the guy that won the $340 mil jackpot lives in my town, Medford Or. and that all 3 of his kid go to my high school. freakin crazy i had no clue
 
If I was bill gates, I would buy a ton of lottery tickets and win a ton of money. just out of spite
 
yea, it's way crazy. nobody really liked these kids ( i still don't know who they are.) but now that their dad won the lotto everyone glorifies them...soo lame. to bad his daughters are ugly...

the kids don't need to go to school? haha. if you or your parents won the lottery, why the fuck wouldn't you go to the best school in the world for whatever career you wanted, and create your own business that was the absolute best at what it does? you could rake in the cash and then actually say that you did something to get it instead of getting lucky and living off of lottery money for the rest of your life. seems to make a little more sense doesn't it?
 
yes you could easily send your kids through life on 340 mill.....slam 330 mill in the bank for investment...live richly and fabulously on your 10 mill until the 330 mill turns into 500 mill. then you do it again. take out 10 mill, put back 490 mill....it goes on forever
 
why the fuck would you need to go to school after winning 340 million dollars? are you guys retarded?no need to waste time and go to college to become a police officer and make 35k a year. fuck if i won like 15 million id never work a day in my life again

i would buy a house with a lot of bedrooms and let people i know stay there whenever they wanted in the mountains- like a ski lodge for all your freinds
 
first thing id do is invest into a company. that way i would be sure that if anything happens i still have the company to fall back on. youve gotta think in the long run. not just your life and your parents lifes, but for your kids and grandkids make sure they live well too.
 
except after taxes, the lump sum is only 110 mil. but even still, if invested properly, in 15 years it could easily be worth over 1 billion dollars

the biggest jackpot in canadian history is coming up...40 million pesos. Or about 5000US.

13 guys that worked at my dads company won powerball for 213 mill about 6 years ago. One of the guys(a machinist)still works everday of his life drilling parts, even though hes sitting on 16 mill!!!

The whole point of life is to become a working member of society (in our country at least) and to contribute to the economy. If you have $111 million, I'd say you don't need a job because you're going to be contributing a lot to the economy. Basically you could go to an ivy league school just for enlightenment, and I guess the smart thing to do would be invest in a business. Otherwise I would partying 24/7 with that much money.

after taxes the recipients would get 7.5 mil a year for I think 20 years or get a lump sum of 110 mil at once. After inflation 20 years from now and what kind of money you could make investing I don't know why you wouldn't take the lump sum.
