311's new album is gonna be called "don't tread on me" and its coming out august...im soo fucking pumped..this better be good

I don't know what this ones going to sound like. I have the demos on my comp from a few months ago but I'm sure that they've changed...a lot. Either way it'll be good, but like most of their new albums the fans won't be the most receptive. You can't put out something like the blue album or grassroots every time. I'm glad 311 isn't trying to copy their old albums, that has hurt a lot of bands, at least they are trying to be original. I'm so psyched for the new album...and seeing them at RED ROCKS!

i am on the 311 site now and i am going to get dont tread on me as soon as i can. i just came here and was going to make this thread. does anyone have it yet? is it good?

 
^^^their demoes haev changed a lot ..don't tread on me changed their second verse totally and others...and i didnt buy the album today cause i was traveling all day.. but ill get it tomrrow..check out their myspace account to hear all their songs

The album kicks ass. Theres alot of different stuff on there. Some good/some bad. Its all up to the mood your feelin in like most their stuff. Theyre by far my favorite band. Their new album has alot of chill music. I like it

Agreed... SA rocks it on speak easy, and the steel drums don't hurt either. It's a good album overall, better than evolver.

my mom picked it for me. definetly a better album than evolver and has a great overal feel to it. if you want some feel good music..pick it up

definitely a different angle for them with SA singing a whole lot more, but its still a 311 album and it still kicks ass.

I dont know. I thought it was actually a big disappointment. I thought that it sounded like it was a great CD to get stoned with and that was about it. 2 stars out of 4.
