Bush probably didn't kill the economy, but he didn't help it at all. There was a recession during Bush's presidency, and that was Bush's responsibility, whether he is directly responsible for the recession or not.

bush became president during a falling ecomony. its hard to stop the momentem, but yes, he could have fixed it. when 9/11 came around, the economy died. there was nothing anyone could have done. nothing. since then he has done a good job trying, and suceeding in reviving the economy.
