thats a joke. personally, i would have complete confidence in any foreign car being able to deal with significantly more than 100k miles, but any american car built before, oh i dunno, 2000 i wouldn't even consider.

and nissans are good cars. but i could be wrong, i would do alot of research before you made any decisions.
 
Two thing:

1) IMO, if this is your first car don't get it, 500hp is way to much for a first car.If it's not your first car then get it.

2) the 300z will last well over 100,000 miles if the engine is taken care of. The car looks amazing and I would totaly get it If I had the money.

Just make sure that you go test drive it, have a mechanic check it out, and ask for service records.

Also know that 300z's are expensive to maintain and difficult to work on because you have a twin turbo V6 stuffed in a tiny engine bay. But they are extremly fun cars.
 
300 Z's are the shit really if you wanna talk about a car that is already somewhat quick but you put a pop charger kit on that for about 500-1000 bucks and you have 500whp like that but make sure that if the turbos have over a hundred thousand miles on them you either replace them or rebuild them a couple of my friends have had those and the turbos go out after a hundred thousand miles.
 
i own a dodge stealth rt turbo, which is twin turbo and awd, i have never lost a race against a skyline gtr or 300zx tt, i put on a new exhaust system and a boost controller and got 11.2 on the strip!

but for your first car that is wayy to fast for you unless your up for a lot of practice. i don't like the whole jdm image very much either just a bunch or preppy kids with ricer hondas or kids who don't even know how to drift!
 
yeah my friend just sold it to me, but i watched him get it on the strip, and yeah i'm almost positive its the stock turbo
 
stock turbo with a boost controller on that car i dont think will run an 11.2 maybe but doubtful im pretty sure thats a 13g turbo.
 
like i said i'm not positive if its a stock turbo, or what minor upgrades have been done but i watched him get 11.2 no lies.
